FloodSense
LIVE measurements of river water levels at multiple remote locations are difficult to observe, visualize, and report.
FloodSense is an easy-to-install integrated wireless battery-powered sensor with an operational life exceeding one year.
Reliable and accurate LIVE readings can be observed, and custom alerts can be configured on an easy-to understand graphical dashboard. All information is viewed LIVE at specified intervals with historical data records.
FloodSense is ideal for flood prevention and prediction, civil engineering projects, temporary works, reservoir management, and other projects that require precision measurement with GNSS location information reporting.
Technocomm can configure a complete end-to-end solution with SaaS (Sensor as a Service) and DaaS (Data as a Service).
API's have been used to integrate data from local rain stations from third parties, allowing 20-30m warning via programmed alerts.

FloodSense versions
There are several version of this product available for different applications. All units can be easily installed using standard mounting fixtures using either hardware or magnets for metallic bridges.
FloodSense - L
This 'data logger' version has no connectivity, but can be used to collect data over long periods of time for backup purposes in remote locations. The battery powered unit can operate for up to 2 years, and depending on data formats can store up to 1 year of data with samples every 15 minutes.
FloodSense - T
This version uses a laser beam to calculate the sensor height above the water, and is connected to the Technocomm CommonSense platform using either LoRa or Cellular (NB-IoT). The water depth is derived from the known baseline depth at the time of installation. This version is suitable for measurements from 10cm to 6m height levels. Users can access the live data on a dedicated page. The unit is battery powered and can operate for 12-18 months depending on technology used and frequency of readings.Typical usage is measurements every 15 minutes
FloodSense - R
This version uses a Radar beam to calculate the sensor height above the water, and is connected to the Technocomm CommonSense platform using either LoRa or Cellular (NB-IoT). The water depth is derived from the known baseline depth at the time of installation. This version is suitable for measurements from 10cm to 60m height levels, and ideally suited for Bore holes and wells .Users can access the live data on a dedicated page. The unit is battery powered and can operate for 12-18 months depending on technology used and frequency of readings. Typical usage is measurements every 60 minutes.
