RainSense

Measuring rainfall can be complex. Several techniques for measuring rain are available but the most reliable one uses optical sensors that are resistant to debris accumulation. Traditional 'tipping bucket' sensors can be used but these accumulate debris, and need to be frequently cleaned and maintaned, and can therefore have accuracy problems.

Our dual-channel outdoor meteorological rain gauge is designed for the following specification:

0.1mm resolution +/- 5% @ 25oC

Long Term stability <5%/Yr

Automatic Zero calibration on Start

Rugged Stainless-Steel construction

NB-IoT Connection to CommonSense

email alerts for hiogh measured averages

Battery / Solar Powered options

RainSense is ideal for integration with AquaSense and FloodSense as part of an early warning alerts system for flood protection
